Jess was diagnosed with kidney disease when she was just 18 years old. Her life went one way. Her friends took another.

I wasn’t travelling. I wasn’t going out and having fun, I was extremely ill. says Jess. 

As Jess found out, kidney disease has the power to change the course of her life. She had the wonderful support of her family, her uncle and her brother both donated a kidney but she still felt very scared and alone.

During my treatment, it was hard I didn’t see anyone like me – young and living with some really tough challenges.
